Gourmet Herring Salad Recipe
Ingredients

| Apples | 5 Small | |
| Pickle | 1 | |
| Pickles | 2 | |
| Beets | 1 Can (10 oz) | |
| Herring in cream | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
| Onions | 3 Small | |
| Hard cooked eggs | 5 | |
| Cooked veal | 1 Pound | |
| Celery stalks | 3 | |
| Capers | 12 Ounce | |
| Prepared mustard | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Olive oil | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste |
Directions
Dice potatoes, apples, pickles, beets, herring, onions, eggs, veal and celery.
Add all remaining ingredients except salad dressing; toss thoroughly.
Add enough salad dressing to moisten; mix gently.
Refrigerate for 2 days, stirring occasionally.
