Gourmet Soup Stock Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 6 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 whole stewing hen (cleaned & trimmed) | ||
| Ham | 2 Ounce, cut into cubes | |
| 4-5 slices ginger 3 stalks green onion | ||
| Pinch of white pepper salt to taste | ||
Directions
Combine chicken and ham in a large pot.
Cover with water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 1 1/2-2 hours.
Skim foam from soup frequently.
Add ginger, green onion, pepper and salt and continue to simmer for 1-1 1/2 hours.
Strain stock and discard bones and seasonings
