Gourmet Pizza Recipe
|1 Italian Pizza Sauce or|
|1 16-oz. loaf frozen whole wheat bread dough, thawed|
|1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning or oregano, crushed, or 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed|
|2 cups assorted meat and/or vegetables|
1. Prepare either the Italian Pizza Sauce or the Pimiento Sauce. For crust, lightly grease a 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan and sprinkle pan with cornmeal. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough to a 16 x 11-inch rectangle. Transfer dough to the prepared pan. Build up edges slightly. Do not let rise. Bake in a 425° oven about 12 minutes or till brown. Spread prepared sauce over hot crust. Layer with seasonings and your choice of meat, vegetables, and cheese. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes more or till bubbly and hot.
