| All purpose flour | 250 Milliliter, sifted | |
| Salt | 1 Milliliter | |
| Baking powder | 5 Milliliter | |
| Shortening | 60 Milliliter | |
| Hot water | 60 Milliliter | |
| Butter | 60 Milliliter | |
| Lemon juice | 5 Milliliter | |
| Egg yolk | 1 , beaten |
Directions
Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together.
Cut in the shortening.
Combine the hot water with the butter and lemon juice, then beat in the egg yolk.
Work into the dry ingredients.
Chill and use as required.
