Goulash Soup Recipe
When Goulash Soup can be made at home, why go to a restaurant for it? Whenever I have European friends visiting I always prepare Goulash Soup which is most loved by them. The marriage of the irresistible flavors of Beef with other ingredients is the secret to this Goulash Soup. This Goulash Soup is a perfect Side Dish. Trust me, once you taste this Goulash Soup you are bound to prepare it again!
Ingredients
1/2 lb. beef
3 oz. onions
1 tsp. salt
1 clove of garlic
Pinch of caraway seed
2 lb. potatoes
3 1/2 oz. ready stewed onions
Tomatoes and green paprika
Half a tsp. red paprika
1 1/2 oz. lard
Directions
Fry onions in lard, add red paprika, beef cut in squares, finely chopped garlic, caraway seed, fresh or tinned lecso, salt it, pour on cold water and steam until almost tender.
Add potatoes cut into cubes, cover potatoes and meat with water and cook well.
