Goulash Recipe

Ingredients
2 tablespoons salad oil
2 chopped onions
1 clove garlic, pressed or finely chopped
1 teaspoon paprika
2 pounds beef stew meat, cut in 3/4 -inch cubes
4 medium boiling potatoes, peeled and cut in small cubes
4 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped, or 1 can (14-ounces) stewed tomatoes
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
4 cups beef broth, or 1/4 cup instant beef bouillon dissolved in 4 cups hot water
Salt and pepper

Directions
Combine oil, onion and garlic in 4-quart casserole.
Microwave 2 to 3 minutes on HIGH, or until onion is transparent.
Stir in paprika.
Add beef, potatoes, tomatoes, green pepper, caraway seeds and beef broth.
Cover.
Microwave 5 minutes on HIGH.
Reduce setting.
Microwave 45 to 60 minutes on '6', or until meat is fork tender, stirring once.
Season with salt and pepper.
Let stand 5 minutes, covered.
Serve in bowls with sour cream spooned on top.
For ovens without solid state heat control, during second cooking period, Microwave 55 to 75 minutes on 5
