Meat Goulash Recipe
Ingredients
| 50 g. / 2 oz. butter | ||
| Tender beef | 675 Gram | |
| 2 large onions, sliced into rings | ||
| 15 ml. / 1 tablespoon paprika | ||
| 1/2 kg. / 1 lb. tomatoes, skinned and chopped | ||
| 50 ml. / 2 fl. oz. beef stock | ||
| 150 ml. / 5 fl. oz. sour cream | ||
| Chopped fresh parsley | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Melt the butter in a saucepan.
Add the meat and fry for 5 to 8 minutes, or until it is evenly browned.
Stir in the onions, salt and pepper to taste and paprika.
Add the tomatoes and stock, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
If necessary, add a little liquid during cooking.
Top with sour cream and parsley.
