Goulash Recipe
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
| 700 g/1lb 9 oz stewing steak, diced | ||
| 25 g/1 oz plain flour | ||
| Onions | 2 , chopped | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), finely chopped | |
| Piquillo | 50 Gram, cut into strips | |
| 450 g/1lb plum tomatoes, peeled, deseeded and chopped | ||
| Smoked paprika | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 300 ml/1/2pt beef stock | ||
| 2 tsp chopped flat-leaf parsley, to serve | ||
| 100 ml/4 fl oz soured cream, to serve | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a heavy based pan, add olive oil and heat it
2. Season the steak and dust with flour; add it to the olive oila dn fry it till sealed and golden; remove from the pan set aside
3. Add onions, peppers and garlic and fry over a medium flame for about ten minutes until soft
4. Add the meat back to the pan, along with paprika and tomatoes; add stock and gently simmer, with the lid partly on for an hour and a half

5. Sprinkle some parsley on top, add a dollop of sour cream and serve
