Gur Papri Part One Recipe

800 gms. best quality jaggery
150 gms. wheat flour
120 gms. pure ghee
1 teaspoon coarsely ground cardamom
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Directions
1. Grease a small tray with butter.
2. Chop the jaggery and place in a thick bottomed pan with two cups of water. Allow to melt over a very low flame. Add the wheat flour, ghee and spices and stir vigorously. Allow to boil. Add the essence and remove from the fire and pour immediately into the greased tray.
3. Cool and cut into squares.
