250 g (8 oz) gooseberries
 
25-50 g (1-2 oz) sugar
 
150 g (5 oz) hazelnut yogurt
 
1 tablespoon soft dark brown sugar

Directions

Place the gooseberries in a saucepan with sugar to taste.
Cook gently, stirring, until the juices run, then cover and simmer until tender.
Spoon into individual heatproof dishes and leave to cool.
Top with the yogurt and chill well.
