Goose Stuffed With Sauerkraut Recipe
Ingredients
1 goose
1lge. can sauerkraut
1 potato, grated
Salt and pepper to
taste
Directions
Place goose on rack in baking pan.
Bake at 400 de- grees for 20 minutes.
Combine sauerkraut and po- tato in saucepan; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; sim- mer for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle cavity of goose with salt and pepper; stuff with sauerkraut mixture.
Re- duce oven temperature to 300 degrees; bake for 3 hours and 30 minutes or until drumstick moves easily.
