Ingredients

 
Accent – 2 teaspoons
 
Beef – 2 pounds, ground
 
Evaporated Milk - 1 cup
 
Soft Bread Crumbs – 2 cups
 
Eggs – 2
 
Salt – 2 teaspoons
 
Dry Mustard – 2 teaspoons
 
Pepper – ½ teaspoon
 
Thyme – ½ teaspoon
 
Onion – ½ cup, minced
 
American cheese – 4 ounces, cut into cubes
 
Instant Mashed Potatoes – 1 envelope

Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, place the beef and sprinkle in the accent seasoning
2) Add in the evaporated milk, dry mustard, thyme, salt, pepper, onion, breadcrumbs and american cheese
3) Using a fork mix the ingredients together
4) In a shallow baking dish or 10 inch pie dish spoon in the mixture and spread evenly
5) Bake in the oven for 50 minutes at 350F
6) Take out from the oven and increase the temperature to 450F
7) Meanwhile, follow the instructions given on the package on preparing the mashed potatoes
8) Spoon the potatoes into a pastry tube and design on top of the meat
9) Dot with butter and bake in the oven for 10 minutes longer

SERVING
10) Serve the pie warm
