Ingredients
3 tbsp. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. shortening
6 tbsp. flour
2 c milk
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. diced cooked ham or Spam
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 recipe cheese biscuits
Directions
Saute onion and green pepper in shortening.
Remove from heat; blend in flour.
Gradually add milk and cream of chicken soup.
Boil 1 minute; add cooked ham and lemon juice.
Pour into greased baking dish.
Place in 450 degree oven to heat.
Quickly place biscuits on hot mixture; bake 15 to 20 minutes.
