Golden Glazed Carrots Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 8 medium-size carrots, scraped and cut into fourths, crosswise | ||
| 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can consomme, undiluted | ||
| Sugar | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dash ground nutmeg | ||
Directions
Cook onion and parsley in butter or margarine for 5 minutes.
Add carrots, consomme, sugar, and nutmeg to onion-parsley mixture.
Cover and cook about 15 minutes.
Uncover and cook another 15 minutes or until carrots are tender and sauce is slightly thickened.
