Ingredients

 Onion2 Tablespoon, chopped
 Parsley1 Tablespoon, chopped
 Butter/Margarine2 Tablespoon
 8 medium-size carrots, scraped and cut into fourths, crosswise
 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can consomme, undiluted
 Sugar1/4 Teaspoon
 Dash ground nutmeg

Directions

Cook onion and parsley in butter or margarine for 5 minutes.
Add carrots, consomme, sugar, and nutmeg to onion-parsley mixture.
Cover and cook about 15 minutes.
Uncover and cook another 15 minutes or until carrots are tender and sauce is slightly thickened.
