Golden Fish Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions | 2 Medium, thinly sliced | |
| Green pepper | 1 Small, thinly sliced | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 I-lb. can salmon, flaked | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 basic biscuit recipe | ||
| Pimentos | 2 , chopped | |
| 3/8 c. grated sharp cheese | ||
Directions
Saute onions and green pepper in skillet in butter for 5 minutes; blend in flour and salt.
Remove from heat; stir milk in gradually.
Return to heat; bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Cook for 5 minutes; stir in salmon and lemon juice carefully.
Pour salmon mixture into greased deep 8-inch baking dish.
Bake in 400-degree oven for 10 minutes.
Roll biscuit dough out 1/4 inch thick into rectangle; sprinkle with pi- mentos and cheese.
Roll up tightly; cut into eight 1-inch slices.
Place biscuits on hot salmon mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes or until rolls are lightly browned.
