Golden Butterscotch Bread Pudding Recipe
Ingredients

| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 2 cups stale, but soft bread cubes, packed | ||
| Dates | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1/4. tsp. nutmeg | ||
| Cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), lightly packed | |
| Salt | 1/3 Teaspoon | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Scald milk and add remaining ingredients.
Pour into a well greased 1 1/2 quart casserole and dot with bits of butter and sprinkle with extra brown sugar and nutmeg.
Bake at 350F for about 1 hour.
