Golden Raisin Spice Bread Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups unsifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup Lemon Juice from Concentrate
1 cup golden seedless raisins
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt; set aside.
In large mixer bowl, beat sugar and margarine until fluffy.
Add eggs, 1 at a time; beat well.
Add milk alternately with dry ingredients; stir well.
Stir in lemon juice and raisins.
Turn into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.
Cool completely.
Store tightly wrapped.
