Golden Glazed Ribs Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 pounds pork loin back ribs, cut in serving size pieces | ||
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dried apricots | 1 Cup (16 tbs), snipped | |
| Packed brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Place ribs in large saucepan or Dutch oven; cover with salted water.
Cover and simmer till ribs are tender, about 1 hour.
Drain well and season ribs with a little salt and pepper.
While ribs are cooking, prepare the glaze by combining water, apricots, brown sugar, vinegar, lemon juice, ginger, and salt.
Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Pour mixture into blender container; cover and blend till smooth.
Brush over ribs.
Place ribs on grill over medium slow coals for 20 to 30 minutes.
Turn once or twice and brush occasionally with glaze.
