Golden Glazed Ham Loaf Recipe
This golden glazed ham loaf is a fruited meatloaf. Moistened with milk and fruit preserve or marmalade, the golden glazed ham loaf is spiced with a hint of mustard. Oven cooked, this ham loaf is prepared with added breadcrumbs and can be served, garnished as desired.
Ingredients
1 pound lean ground ham
1 pound ground pork
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup Milk
1 egg Dash pepper
1 cup Peach Preserves or Orange Marmalade
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice from Concentrate
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
In large bowl, combine all ingredients except preserves, brand and mustard; mix well.
In shallow baking dish, shape into loaf.
Bake 1 1/2 hours.
Meanwhile, stir together preserves, brand and mustard.
Use 1/3 to 1/2 cup sauce to glaze loaf during last 30 minutes of baking.
Heat remaining glaze and serve with loaf.
Garnish as desired.
Refrigerate leftovers.
