1 cup yellow cornmeal
 
1 tsp salt
 
Boiling water

Directions

Heat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
Place a well-greased, rimmed cookie sheet in the oven.
Combine the cornmeal, salt, and just enough boiling water to make a thick pancake-like batter.
Carefully remove greased sheet from oven.
Using a large serving spoon, quickly spoon batter onto the hot grease in 36 large fifty-cent size rounds.
Place in oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
