Golden Chicken Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound fresh asparagus or 1 10-ounce package frozen asparagus spears Italian dressing | ||
| 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Turmeric | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Chives | 2 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Cooked chicken | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), canned | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| 2 hard-cooked eggs, diced | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Cook asparagus; drain.
Marinate in Italian dressing 2 hours in refrigerator, turning once or twice.
Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, turmeric, and chives; set aside.
Mix remaining ingredients; add mayonnaise mixture; toss lightly.
Chill.
Arrange drained asparagus on lettuce; top with the salad Dash with paprika.
