Golden Apricot Molds Recipe
Ingredients
| Apricot | 1 , peeled | |
| Vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Whole Cloves | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon stick | 4 Inch | |
| 1 package orange-flavored gelatin | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Drain and reserve the syrup from the apricots.
2) Stir in the spices and vinegar, then bring the mixture to a boil.
3) Mix in the apricot halves and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
4) In 8 individual molds, remove and place the apricot halves.
5) Strain and level the syrup mixture with water to 2 cups.
6) Stir in the gelatin to dissolve, then pour over the apricot halves and refrigerate until set.
7) Unmold over the canned jellied cranberry sauce slices on top of the lettuce.
SERVING
8) Serve immediately with the Sweet Sour-cream Dressing or mayonnaise.
