Directions
Core and cut apples in 1/2-inch crosswise slices.
Melt butter in a skillet. Stir in brown sugar, spices, and salt.
Sauté apple rings in butter mixture over low heat, turning occasionally until tender.
Serve with scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon. Makes approximately 12 apple rings.
