Egg yolks- 8, beaten
Cake flour- 2 1/2 cups sifted
Baking powder- 3 teaspoons
Salt- 1/4 teaspoon
Milk- 3/4 cup
Vanilla- 1 teaspoon

3.Now add yolks in thirds, beating well after each addition
4.Stir in sifted dry ingredients alternately with liquids, until blended
5.Pour into 3 (9 inch) round layer pans, greased and lined
