Gold Rush Recipe
Ingredients
| Vodka | 1 Bottle (1l) | |
| Gold leaf 2 squares | ||
| Ice | ||
| Grand marnier | 90 Milliliter | |
| Liqueur | 60 Milliliter | |
| Champagne | 1/2 Bottle (1l) | |
| Orange 1, zest cut off in 6 spirals (with no pith visible) | ||
| Brown sugar lumps 6 | ||
Directions
Pour the whole bottle of vodka into a blender and whizz with the gold leaf for just a few seconds.
You want specks you can see, so be careful not to whizz too much.
For each drink pour 30mI of the vodka into a shaker filled with ice, along with 15ml Grand Marnier and 10ml peach liqueur.
Shake well strain into martini glasses (or similar) and top up with Champagne.
Add a spiral of orange zest.
Just before serving, drop in a brown sugar lump.
It will fizz and make the gold leaf pieces dance around.
