Gokul Pitha Recipe
Ingredients
| Khoya | 2 Cup (16 tbs), sweetened | |
| Cardamom powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Black gram | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), soaked | |
| Raisins | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Ghee for frying | ||
Directions
Drain and grind the dal to a fairly dry paste.
Add raisins to the khoya.
Make 18 balls of the khoya.
Cover each khoya ball with dal batter and fry in hot ghee.
Reserve.
Make a syrup with sugar and 1/2 cup water till a one-thread consistency is obtained.
Dip each khoya ball into the syrup flavoured with cardamom powder.
Serve hot.
Add raisins to the khoya.
