Goat Cheese Appetizer Recipe
Ingredients
| 2-4 heads of garlic, roasted | ||
| 1 loaf of crusty bread or crackers | ||
| Goat cheese package | 1 | |
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Balsamic vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Thyme | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Basil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Capers | ||
| Sun dried tomatoes | ||
| Sprigs of rosemary, chopped | ||
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
To roast garlic; cut top of each head of garlic, peel off outside skin as much as possible, leaving head of garlic in tact.
Put head of garlic on a piece of foil and sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Wrap foil around garlic and bake 1 hour until garlic is tender.
On a large platter, arrange roasted garlic.
Cut goat cheese into 1" pieces and arrange around garlic.
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, herbs, sun-dried tomatoes, salt and pepper.
Drizzle over goat cheese and garlic.
Garnish with capers and sprigs of rosemary.
