Goa Fish Curry Recipe
Goa Fish Curry is easy to cook and has a different taste. The coconut gives the Goa Fish Curry a different taste.
Ingredients
250 gms sliced Pomfret or any other firm fish salted for 30 minutes and washed
Salt
1 large sliced onion
2 slit green chillies (deseeded)
FOR THE MASALA
GRIND TOGETHER
6 Goan or Kashmiri chillies deseeded
1/4 grated coconut
1/2 tsp roasted cummin seeds
1 tsp roasted coriander seeds
1 tsp roasted khus khus (poppy seeds)
10 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 cups water
2 tbsp tamarind pulp
Directions
Rub salt into the onions and green chillies and keep for 30 minutes.
Mix the rest of the ingredients, except fish and tamarind pulp, together and microwave for 20 minutes at 50% power.
Put in the fish and tamarind pulp and microwave for 8 -10 minutes
