Ingredients

 1 med. pomfret, cut into slices or 2 cups shelled prawns thick milk of 3/4 coconut
 Coconut1/4 (Grind:)
 15 red chillies seeds removed
 Garlic10 Gram (Grind:)
 Salt To Taste (Grind:)
 1 large finely sliced onion
 1/2 cup thick tamarind water
 1/2 tsp. pepper corns
 Coriander seeds1 Teaspoon (Grind:)
 1 tsp. cummin seeds

Directions

In a pan put onions, salt, ground masala and 2 cups hot water.
Simmer till onions are transparent.
Add in coconut milk.
Give one boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 mins.
Add in tamarind water, cook 5 mins longer.
Add in fish lastly.
Simmer for 5 mins longer.
If prawns are added, put in with coconut milk.
Serve with boiled rice.
