Ingredients

 Greens1 Cup (16 tbs) (chard, spinach or kale with ribs removed)
 Redwood hill farm plain kefir/Green valley organics plain kefir1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Frozen strawberries1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (about 5 whole berries)
 Unsweetened apple juice/Cider1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

 Ice cubes1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (adjust to reach desired consistency)
 Chia seeds1 Tablespoon, for a boost of fiber, omega 3s, and calcium (Optional)
 Lactose free whey protein isolate powder1 Tablespoon, for added protein (Optional)

Directions

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
