Glorified Lemon Pie Recipe
Ingredients
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
6 eggs
Directions
Beat egg yolks until light.
Add sugar and lemon juice and mix well.
Cook in double boiler until thick.
Remove from fire and fold in 3 stiffly beaten egg whites.
Put into baked pie shell.
Make meringue of the 3 remaining egg whites and 4 tablespoons powdered sugar.
Bake in moderate oven (325° F.) until light brown.
