Glogg Recipe
A never to be missed recipe of Glogg. Once you try this Glogg things will change for good. The European Glogg has a way of addicting you to it with the first sip. Alcohol is the main ingredient of this recipe. Try it, you will absolutely love this Glogg recipe.
Ingredients
6 oranges
About 6 dozen whole cloves
1 cup warm rum
1 gallon (4 quarts) hot apple cider
3 sticks cinnamon
Directions
Stud each whole orange with 10 to 12 whole cloves.
Place on a baking pan and bake in a 300° oven for 2 hours, or until juices start to run.
Transfer to a heatproof 2-gallon serving bowl (or copper pan).
Pour over warm rum, ignite, and flame.
Then pour in hot apple cider and add cinnamon sticks.
Keep hot over a warmer during serving time; ladling into small heatproof punch cups.
If you wish, stir in additional rum.
