Glazed Pork Loin Roast Recipe

Ingredients
2 to 2 1/2 pound boneless fresh pork loin roast
1 clove garlic, cut into fourths
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon orange marmalade
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
Directions
Make 4 slits in fat on pork roast with tip of sharp knife; insert a piece of garlic in each slit.
Sprinkle roast with salt.
Place fat side down on microwave roasting rack or inverted saucer in oblong baking dish, 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inches.
Cover loosely and microwave 12 minutes; turn roast fat side up.
Cover tightly and let stand 10 min utes.
Microwave 5 minutes.
Mix marmalade, mustard and thyme; spread on roast.
Cover loosely and microwave until roast is done (170°), 5 to 7 minutes.

That's completely untrue. I used to believe the same thing only to have it debunked by experienced researchers. Look it up. Microwaving does not kill nutrients.

this cooking method is the worst i can possibly think of other than using individual matches. Microwave??? Nothing should EVER go in a microwave for more than 3 minutes. If it requires more than that, there is a better cooking method. 27 total min in the nuke will destroy every vitamin, mineral, and bit of protein in the whole thing. what is the point??
