Glazed Orange Muffins Recipe
Baking orange glazed muffins just got easier. These muffins can be prepared from an easy to throw together mfin mix. Baked with delicious marmalade and glazed with a tangy mix of sugar, orange zest and orange juice, this a piping hot winner!
Ingredients
| 1 pkg bran with fruit | ||
| 1 muffin mix (such as Duncan Hines) | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Orange marmalade | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Orange juice | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (GLAZE:) | |
| Granulated Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) (GLAZE:) | |
| Orange zest | 1 Tablespoon, grated (GLAZE:) | |
Directions
In a bowl combine muffin mix, egg and water, mixing well.
Spoon just enough batter into prepared tin to cover bottoms.
Add 1 tsp (5 mL) marmalade to each.
Fill with remaining batter.
Bake in pre heated oven for about 20 minutes.
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine orange juice, sugar and zest.
Cook until sugar dissolves.
Place warm muffins on a rack with waxed paper underneath.
Drizzle hot glaze over muffins.
