Glazed Ham Patties Recipe
Glaze ham patties are microwaved cooked ham patties prepared with cooked ham and breadcrumbs along with onions and seasonings. Cooked with the flavors of brown sugar, mustard, parsley flakes and honey, the glazed ham patties are served with the reserved glaze.
Ingredients
1 pound ground fully cooked ham (about 3 cups)
1 egg
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 tablespoon orange juice
Directions
Mix ham, egg, bread crumbs, onion, milk, parsley flakes and mustard.
Shape into 4 patties about 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
Place in square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches.
Mix brown sugar, honey, vinegar and cloves; spread half of the mixture over patties.
Stir orange juice into remaining mixture; reserve.
Cover patties loosely and microwave 4 minutes; turn dish one quarter turn.
Microwave until pat ties are firm in center, 3 to 4 minutes.
Serve reserved glaze over patties.
