Glazed Ham Loaf Recipe
Glazed Ham Loaf is a tasty and irresistible meat loaf! I am pretty fond of this dish not only because its tasty but also because it is one of the first dishes I cooked for my husband after our marriage. Try this Glazed Ham Loaf recipe.
Ingredients
1 lb. ground ham
3/4 lb. ground round steak
1/4 lb. ground lean pork
2 c. fine bread crumbs
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. milk
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
Directions
Combine first 8 ingredients.
Shape into loaf.
Combine remaining ingredients; cook for 7 minutes.
Bake loaf at 375 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes, basting every 15 minutes with brown sugar mixture.
May be served with a sauce of sweetened whipped cream blended with horse radish to taste.
