Ingredients

 
1 2 1/2 pound frozen boneless turkey roast
 
1 cup plum preserves
 
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
 
1/2 envelope onion soup mix
 
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Directions

Remove roast from foil pan; wrap in heavy foil.
Place in shallow roasting pan and roast at 350° for 2 hours.
Combine preserves, salad dressing, and soup mix.
Loosen foil; pour preserve mixture over turkey, then reseal.
Insert meat thermometer.
Roast till meat thermometer registers 185°, 13/4 to 2 hours more.
Transfer roast to plate; reserve drippings.
Blend 2 tablespoons cold water slowly into cornstarch; stir into drippings.
Cook and stir till thickened.
Spoon some of the sauce over turkey; pass remaining.
