Glazed Pears Recipe
Ingredients
6 ripe Bosc pears
1/2 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon grated orange rind
1/4 cup Cointreau
Freshly grated nutmeg
Directions
Halve, core, and peel pears.
Place cut side up in a large, shallow, buttered baking dish.
Combine orange rind, nutmeg, orange juice, and cointreau in a small saucepan.
Heat to boiling.
Pour over pears.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350° F for 30 minutes or until tender, basting 3 times with orange mixture.
