Glazed Meatloaf Recipe
My dad's healthy eating habits led him to try the Low Fat recipe of Glazed Meatloaf. When you are following Low Fat diet then eat this Glazed Meatloaf. No other ingredient will make Glazed Meatloaf taste so awesome than turkey. 50 minutes is enough to make Glazed Meatloaf. A great Main Dish recipe is one like this. You don't have to be a gourmet to judge how mouth-watering and tasty this dish really is.
Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey breast meat
1/2 cup Health Valley Fat-Free Herb Crackers, processed to fine crumbs
1 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard, spicy or dijon
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon white pepper (optional)
1/4 cup no salt tomato sauce
2 egg whites
6 tablespoons no salt ketchup
2 tablespoons honey
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Set the oven temperature to 350°F before baking.
MAKING
2) Mix together all ingredients except ketchup and honey.
3) Take a 7- or 8-inch loaf pan; pour the mixture into it and bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven until the loaf is firm and browned on top.
4) Blend ketchup and honey.
5) Top the loaf evenly with this glaze and bake again for 5 more minutes.
SERVING
6) Serve hot with no salt ketchup, if wished.
