Glazed Ham With Sweet Potatoes Recipe

| 3/4 pound fully cooked ham slice, trimmed of separable fat | ||
Directions
In a large skillet combine fresh sweet potatoes, if using, onions, and orange juice.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or till vegetables are just tender.
Stir together honey, water, cornstarch, orange peel, and allspice; add to skillet.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Add canned sweet potatoes, if using, to skillet.
Carefully lay ham slice over vegetables in skillet.
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or till ham is heated through.
Place ham on platter; spoon vegetables and sauce over ham.
