Glazed Ham Steak And Sweet Potato Platter Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 cup maple-flavor syrup | ||
| Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground mace | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Steaks package | 1 , shaped | |
| Corn | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sweet potatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
Directions
1. Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet; add syrup, cinnamon and mace. Cook over low heat, stirring until bubbly.
2. Add ham steaks, a few at a time, to mixture in skillet. Cook, turning once and basting, until heated through. Remove to a heated serving platter and keep warm while cooking other steaks.
3. Heat corn with additional butter or margarine, if you wish; spoon onto platter.
4. Add potatoes to skillet and cook until heated through and glazed. Place on serving platter with ham and corn. Spoon glaze over ham and potatoes.
