Glazed Ham Steak Recipe
Glazed ham steak is a fruited ham recipe prepared with aprico preserves and pineapple. The ham is broiled to cooked and flavored with the lightly cooked combo of pineapple juice and preserves spooned on top.
Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple, well drained
1/2 cup Peach or Apricot Preserves
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice from Concentrate
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 (1- to 1 1/2-pound) center cut ham slice
Directions
In small saucepan, combine pineapple, preserves, brand and cornstarch; mix well and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 10 to 15 minutes to blend flavors.
Broil ham to desired doneness on bbth sides.
Spoon pineapple mixture on top; heat until hot and bubbly.
Refrigerate leftovers.
