Spiced Glazed Fruited Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
6 pork chops
1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed beef broth
1 tablespoon brown sugar
6 apple slices
6 orange slices
Dash ground cinnamon
Dash ground cloves
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Cooked rice
Directions
In skillet, brown chops (use shortening if necessary); pour off fat.
Add broth and brown sugar.
Cover; cook over low heat 15 minutes.
Place an apple and orange slice on each chop; sprinkle with cinnamon and cloves.
Cook over low heat 15 minutes more or until tender.
Mix orange juice and cornstarch until smooth; gradually blend into sauce.
Cook, stirring until thickened.
