Glazed Carrots Recipe
Ingredients
| 750 g/ 1 1/2 lb carrots | ||
| 25 g/1 oz butter | ||
| Parsley | 1/2 Teaspoon, finely chopped | |
| 2 sugar lumps | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| 600 ml/1 pint stock or water | ||
Directions
Slice the carrots into rounds, then cut the rounds into thin slices about twice as thick as a matchstick.
Put into a saucepan with the remaining ingredients and bring quickly to the boil.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until tender.
