| Banana squash - 1 1/2 pounds | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Frozen orange juice - 1 tablespoon concentrate, thawed | ||
| Apricot jam | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Ground cloves | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Peel the squash by using a vegetable knife or peeler.
2.Cut the peeled vegetables into cubes of 1/4th inch.
MAKING
3.Take an electric frying pan, set it on high and heat butter in it.
4.Stir in squash and 2 tablespoons water.
5.Stir well and then cook on high heat for 4-5 minutes by putting the lid on so that the vegetables is soft and no liquid is left.
6.Add a few drops of water if the squash is sticking.
7.Lower the heat and add orange juice concentrate, jam, cloves, salt and pepper to it.
8.Mix gently so that the squash is glazed.
SERVING
9.Serve warm.
