Ingredients

 Butter/Margarine3/4 Cup (16 tbs), softened
 1 cup packed light brown sugar
 Eggs3
 Vanilla1 1/2 Teaspoon
 All purpose flour2 1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Baking soda2 Teaspoon
 Ground cinnamon2 Teaspoon
 Ground nutmeg3/4 Teaspoon
 Ground ginger1/2 Teaspoon
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Unsweetened applesauce1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Milk1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Walnuts2/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Butterscotch chips2/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Apple Glaze

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease and lightly flour 12-cup Bundt pan or 10-inch tube pan.
Beat butter in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until creamy.
Beat in brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla until well blended.
In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and salt.
Add flour mixture to butter mixture at low speed, alternately with applesauce and milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Beat well after each addition.
Stir in walnuts and butterscotch chips.
Spoon into prepared pan.
Bake 45 to 50 minutes until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan 15 minutes.
Remove from pan to wire rack; cool completely.
Spoon Apple Glaze over top of cake.
Store tightly covered at room temperature.
