Gingered Fish Oriental Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 whole snapper (4 to 5 lbs/2 to 2.5 kg) with head or any fresh fish | ||
| Light soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sesame oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry sherry | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tbsp grated fresh ginger root | ||
| Red pepper flakes | 1/8 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Garlic | 3 Clove (5gm), finely chopped | |
| 4 green onion brushes | ||
Directions
1. Place fish in a large shallow baking dish. Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, sherry, ginger root, red pepper and garlic. Pour over fish, cover tightly with foil, and marinate in refrigerator 4 hours, turning once.
2. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
3. Bake fish in marinade (still covered) for 45 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork. Garnish with green onion brushes.
