Gingered Carrots Recipe

Ingredients
3 to 5 medium-size carrots
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp. monosodium glutamate
1 tsp. grated ginger root
1 tsp. sugar
2 tbs. butter or margarine
Directions
Peel carrots.
Cut into strips, add water and monosodium gul-tamate.
Simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes or till tender.
Add ginger, sugar and butter.
Cook for about 2 to 3 minutes longer, turning carrots carefully several times.
