Gingered Asparagus Recipe
I have just recently begun to try and consume less meat and these Gingered Asparagus were very satisfying. I am yet to try out a spicier version of this Gingered Asparagus recipe. Great on your taste buds!

Ingredients
3/4 cup (180 ml) Apple Cider Vinegar
1 1/2 tbs (25 ml) fresh ginger, grated
2 tbs (30 ml) maple syrup
1 lb (455 g) fresh asparagus
1 clove garlic, finely minced
3-4 tbs (45-60 ml) Sesame Oil
1 tsp (5 ml) soy sauce
1/2 tsp (3 ml) sea salt
Directions
Combine vinegar, ginger and maple syrup and bring to a boil.
Cook uncovered over medium heat 10-15 minutes.
Set aside.
Cut off 1/2 inch of each lower stalk of asparagus.
Bring water to a boil.
Cook asparagus until tender 5-8 minutes.
Remove from heat and rinse with cold water.
Combine garlic, oil, salt and soy sauce with vinegar mixture.
Arrange asparagus on a plate.
Cover with marinade and refrigerate 1-2 hours before serving.
