Simple Ginger Bread Recipe
Are you looking for a Gingerbread recipe similar to the one that your mom used to make? It is served as a delicious Breakfast. My friends tried this Gingerbread the other day and they simply adored it. Do I need to say more?
Ingredients
2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 cup molasses
1/4 cup melted shortening
Directions
Mix and sift the dry ingredients.
Combine the milk, water, vinegar, and molasses.
Stir into the dry ingredients.
Add melted shortening and stir until smooth.
Pour into a greased 9-inch layer-cake pan.
Bake in a moderate oven (375 F ) for 1/2 hour.
